Member's Digital Photo GalleriesWe have put together these digital photo galleries on behalf of some of the students who have attended the 10 week “how-to” digital photography course in the past few years. They were interested in having their work displayed on the Internet but did not have a website nor the skills to build one. In most cases the students have not been involved in photography all that long and have never used a 35mm SLR camera so do not really know and understand the rules of shutter speed, depth of field, lens opening etc. Furthermore their point and shoot cameras really do not provide them with a great deal of information about these features. The majority of the digital images are nature related: landscapes, birds, flowers, seasonal images etc. Almost all of the images have been produced using their point and shoot cameras. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the quality of many of these images. The images you will see have been shot from various points in the Eastern Townships of Quebec ranging from the areas of Frelighsburg to Sutton and the surrounding areas. Tina's GalleriesMost if not all the images you will see in her galleries have been taken with a small Panasonic Point and Shoot camera. Winter WonderlandMother Nature at her best. Want to see a special gallery containing both color and black and white images of a special display put on by mother nature? These images were taken during the 1st weekend in January 2010, when the sun finally made a rare appearance for just the 2nd time in 22 days. Next to each color image is the corresponding black and white image. All the images within this gallery are for sale.
